These heat exchanges provide liquid to liquid heat transfer. Hot Liquid flows through the shell and over the exterior of the tubes as the cooling liquid flows through the inside of the tubes. Typical applications include engine and transmission oil cooling, torque converters, injection molding and die casting machines, and hydraulic power systems.
A wide range of heat transfer capacities through variations in shell diameter, shell and tube length, baffle spacing, and 1, 2 or 4 pass models. Multi-Pass models provide similar heat transfer performance as a single pass models with lower cooling liquid flow. Solid construction with brass shell, baffles, and hubs along with ¼” diameter copper tubes. Steel mounting brackets can be positioned around the cast iron end bonnets for your installation requirements. Maximum operating pressure of 150 PSI for the tubes and 250 psi for the shell.
